The Tri-Layer technology, as the name suggests, is a three layer system which ensures any excess moisture produced by the foot is wicked away from the skin to keep the foot dry. A hydrophobic polyester layer sits next to skin to move sweat away form the foot but without absorbing it. The intermediate layer then takes the moisture in and sends it to the outside of the sock where it will evaporate quicker over a larger surface area. The nylon outerlayer gives the socks their durability and abrasion resistance.
